- Do my guests need the Pref app for me to see their preferences?
- Yes — a guest creates their Pref (takes about 90 seconds) and then shares a link with you. You can open the link in any browser; you don't need the app to view what they shared.
- Can I track preferences for guests who don't use Pref?
- Soon. We're shipping a feature that lets hosts jot a private note on any contact, even one who hasn't joined yet. In the meantime, you can add people as 'dependents' inside your own Pref and track their preferences there.
- Is Pref only for dinner parties?
- No. Pref covers 280+ preferences across hospitality, accessibility, communication, dating, travel, gifting, and household life. If you host people in any form — parties, Airbnbs, therapy clients, regulars at your salon — Pref is built for you.
- How much does Pref cost?
- Pref is free for guests. Business features (multi-staff shared notes, bulk guest profiles) will be paid — but all personal hosting use is free forever.
