- Is my data private?
- Yes. Every preference has its own visibility (public, friends, family, or private) and you can revoke any shared link at any time. Pref doesn't sell your data, doesn't show ads, and doesn't use your preferences to train third-party AI models. See our privacy policy for the full rundown.
- What if my preferences change?
- Update them any time. Anyone holding an active share link will see the new version; anyone you've revoked won't. Your preferences aren't a one-time survey — they're a living profile.
- Does Pref replace medical alert bracelets or allergen cards?
- No. Pref is a communication tool, not a medical safety system. If you have a severe allergy or a condition that's medically urgent, keep your bracelet, your card, and your EpiPen — Pref is for the everyday communication that those tools don't cover.
- Can I use Pref if none of my friends or family have the app?
- Yes. A Pref share link opens in any browser — no app install required for the person receiving it. The app is only needed to create and manage your own profile.
